How long can HIV live outside the body?
I know ive asked a couple questions about aids, but there was something on my backpack that look like a liquid but im not sure and if it was sperm with HIV in it how long could it live its been outside and indoors, i doubt that it is sperm with HIV though but if it is how long could it take to die? i have a cut on my finger and i dont want HIV i know how people get it but i just want to know how long it can survive out side the body?

Sperm cannot survive at all outside the body, if it has dried up, it cannot contaminate someone. Don’t worry about it

It’s a weak virus. wipe down with bleach and or place in sunlight. go to cdc.gov for more info. now, hepatitis is what is easier to get than AIDS/HIV. should get series of 3 inj and also inj for hep A sometime in your life.
