Hi, I am HIV positive. I been i had sex with a guy in december unprotected several times and ive took-en the test three times and and once last month for 2 years now. I recently had sex with a girl without a condom and I didn’t tell her i was positive.. What are the chances that she might be positive now…

Like girl was EMO and told me she fantasized about having sex with a guy who had HIV… I sure hope she was telling me the truth and not just playing.

The common perception that HIV will “‘jump’ to the other side as soon as it has a chance” isn’t completely accurate. The actual chance of becoming infected with HIV during a single sexual experience — even with a partner who is known to be HIV-positive — is rather low: one study put the chance for a woman becoming infected by an HIV-positive male through vaginal sex at 1 in 1000.

Ask someone dying from AIDS, I’m sure they’ll tell you it’s a pretty big risk.
Some people could call it attempted murder to be infected, and have unprotected sex with a unknowing partner.

    1) Don’t blame the girl. Yes, she played a part in this, but sex is mutual unless it’s rape.
    2) If you’re worried about spreading HIV (which anyone with a conscious should be), why would you have unprotected sex?

I’m not trying to mock you. I’m just saying if you’re old enough to have sex, you’re old enough to take responsibility for your choices.

There’s a fairly high percentage chance of transferring HIV sexually. The chances are different in all people and they are a function of viral load and viral shedding and it also depends on if this woman had any irritation in the vagina or around the vaginal introitus (opening). Being that you were having sex, sexual activity is traumatic to the vagina and surrounding tissues therefore irritation is probable and likely. Nevertheless, there’s a significant probability that you passed on HIV.

You should inform her ASAP as, if she was just exposed, she can get antiretroviral therapy for prophylaxis to possibly prevent an active infection. Thus, you need to tell her and you also need to make it imperative that she sees a doctor very very soon!

For the future, be sure you inform all future sexual partners of your infection as it is your duty to tell people before hand and you can be legally prosecuted.

Please tell her as soon as you are done reading this…

ARE YOU KIDDING ME. You should be put behind bars honestly. No matter how much she says that…. you’ve pretty much just committed murder. I hope this is a joke.

Well you should have still used protection and what are the chances that she really fantasizes about having sex with someone who is HIV positive? That sounds like a ” fib” to me!!
